Enlargement of photo 206 showing a closer look at the burning Crocodile in the above photo, a trailing vehicle (perhaps a Churchill tank bringing up the rear of the column or another Crocodile towing the napalm tank) on the road crossing the rim of the quarry and a Sherman of the author’s platoon positioned considerably downslope of the exposed quarry rim. All of the vehicles in the British column were knocked out by German artillery fire.
